We’re looking for a Volunteer Engagement Coordinator to help mobilize and support volunteers serving through our Local Compassion & Justice initiatives. In this role, you’ll play a key part in creating experiences where volunteers feel equipped, valued, and inspired—while helping deliver programs that support individuals and families working toward long-term stability.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll sit at the intersection of people and process—making sure both are working at their best.
- Lead the volunteer journey from onboarding to placement, ensuring a smooth, organized, and welcoming experience
- Create engaging orientations and training that set volunteers up for success
- Build relationships with volunteers, helping them find the right opportunities and stay connected
- Coordinate and execute programs like Care Teams, Resource Days, and other community initiatives
- Partner with staff and community organizations to expand impact and strengthen programs
- Track participation and outcomes to continuously improve how we serve

What You Bring

What We Offer
- The salary range for this position is $45,000 – $62,000, depending on experience and education.
