Position Description: Procurement Analyst – Contingent Pipeline Opportunity – We’re building a talent pipeline for upcoming U.S. Government defense IT and analytics support roles. Opportunities are contingent upon task order awards and funding under existing contracts.
Location: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Track procurement activities and expenditures across assigned efforts
- Support the full procurement cycle from request through closeout
- Monitor purchase orders and ensure alignment with budget and program needs
- Analyze procurement data and develop cost forecasts
- Track performance metrics and identify process improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and internal procurement policies
- Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits
- Support contract analysis and vendor performance tracking
- Assist with procurement reporting and financial reconciliation
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
OR 4 (four) years of equivalent experience in procurement analysis - Experience supporting procurement activities in a federal or DoD environment
- Working knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations
- Experience managing purchase orders and tracking procurement performance
- Experience with cost estimation and financial tracking
- Familiarity with acquisition systems and procurement databases
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience supporting procurement audits and compliance reviews
- Experience analyzing procurement data to improve efficiency
- Experience working with financial management or acquisition tools
- Experience supporting multi vendor or complex procurement environments
Certifications:
- Required: None
- Preferred: Certified Professional Contracts Manager CPCM, DoD Financial Management Certification
