At our Keystone Heights facility, the warehouse team is responsible for maintaining strict quality, traceability, and inventory control standards that directly impact safety and operational performance. The Warehouse & Inventory Clerk supports the efficient operation of MHD-Rockland’s warehouse by managing the receipt, storage, inventory control, and shipment of aircraft parts and materials. This role ensures accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance in all inventory transactions, supporting both domestic and international operations.
The position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory integrity, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring all materials meet company quality standards and aviation regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive inbound materials, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and inspect for quality, condition, and proper documentation (including trace and certification records)
- Accurately enter receipts and inventory transactions into company systems, maintaining complete and auditable records
- Maintain inventory control, including cycle counts, stock organization, and reconciliation of discrepancies
- Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments in accordance with customer requirements and aviation industry standards
- Ensure all outbound orders include proper documentation, including certifications, traceability records, and export documentation where applicable
- Package materials using best practices to ensure safe, damage-free delivery, including sensitive or high-value aircraft components
- Coordinate shipping logistics, including carrier selection, routing, and scheduling for both domestic and international shipments
- Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments as required
- Identify and report non-conformities in materials or documentation and coordinate resolution with internal teams, suppliers, or customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse operations and inventory accuracy
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
- Strong attention to detail, especially related to documentation, traceability, and compliance
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and inventory/ERP systems
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving ability with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations preferred
- Experience in aviation, manufacturing, or regulated environments is a plus
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse environment with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and varying weather conditions. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas.
