Nuvve Corp. is a San Diego based company, whose mission is to lower the cost of electrical vehicle (EV)

ownership while supporting the integration of renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar. Our

Grid Integrated Vehicle platform GIVe™ transforms EVs into grid assets when charging while

guaranteeing the expected level of charge when the vehicle owner needs it. The aggregation of

thousands of electric vehicles into a virtual power plant using the GIVe platform, allows Nuvve to

participate in electricity markets with a power capacity comparable to traditional generators. Based on

“Vehicle To Grid” technology or “v2g” the GIVe platform gives benefits to public organizations, businesses

and homes by reducing the cost of electric infrastructure and reducing CO2 emissions.


Nuvve is looking for a Business Development Analyst to support rapid growth of EV charging station

deployment. Responsibilities will include a diverse scope of creating, organizing, developing, and

producing proposals and other formally requested client correspondences. You will be working directly

with the Business Development Directors, Sales Team and Operations Team in an array of duties. We

require a candidate with the motivation to succeed and a passion to excel in a fast-paced environment.

operational excellence. You will work internally across departments and externally with clients and

vendors, so it is imperative to always demonstrate the highest level of professionalism. This is a full-time

position with 100% company paid benefits.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop customer proposals by assembling information including financial analysis, project

nature, deliverables, implementation, timetable, staffing and budget. This includes developing any

Scope of Work required with writing and revising executive summaries, conclusions, fee

schedules and organization credentials.

• Develop financial models to support customer proposals

• Research, track and respond to RFI/RFP opportunities, or other related grant funding.

• Coordinate submissions by identifying and gathering sources of information and collaborating

internally and externally with vendors and partners. Ensure compliance, completeness, and

consistent messaging throughout the proposal.

• Support sales forecasting and opportunity tracking, and reporting.

• Perform data collection and administrative tasks, including contacting partners, outlining

requirements, and organizing and distributing information

• Assist with the archiving of proposal content and upload to appropriate internal databases or

servers as part of proposal closeout procedures in a timely and quality and manner

• Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering,

writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements

with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; and transmitting

proposals

• Translate and synthesize information into proposals that targeted audiences can understand,

while maintaining the technical accuracy and completeness of the intended response

• Maintain quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including

readability, consistency, and tone; maintaining proposal support databases

• Assist in the hand-off of active projects/cases to the Operations Team

• Provide support to the Operations Team with change orders and supplemental cost estimates

• Improve proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach,

coordination, and boilerplate, implementing changes

• Continually work towards strengthening industry knowledge and all relevant applications

• Communicate regularly and effectively with all colleagues, including staff in different domestic and

international time zones

• Exhibit a very organized approached and superior attention to details

• Meet regularly with managers to provide feedback and facilitate communication

• Able to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed

• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by management


Qualifications / Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Bachelors’ degree in related field or discipline

• Desired 3-5 years of experience working in EV charging, energy storage, or renewables

• Experience in developing financial models to build effective business proposals

• Proposal writing and preparing cost estimates

• Analyzing various business products and services

• Coordinating proposal development and working within proposal databases

• Applying layout and other desktop publishing skills

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills

• Demonstrate a high degree of productivity while handling multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication, research, and reading comprehension skills

• Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it

• Project a positive, professional image toward clients, vendors, and staff in all interactions and

situations

• Problem analysis and resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level

• Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications, Confluence and Salesforce
