Position Summary

 

We’re looking for a dynamic, strategic, and creative Communications Manager to lead both internal and external communications across our organization. In this role, you’ll shape our voice, elevate our brand, and drive engagement across our practices and home office.


You’ll be the go-to partner for messaging, storytelling, and events—ensuring everything we communicate feels clear, consistent, and aligned with who we are. If you enjoy balancing big-picture strategy with hands-on execution, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.

What You’ll Do


Communications & Engagement

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy across all practices and the home office 
  • Partner closely with leadership to craft clear, consistent messaging for key initiatives and organizational updates 
  • Enhance communication flow between the home office and practices 
  • Create engaging newsletters, announcements, and leadership communications 
  • Utilize platforms like Axios HQ to drive clarity and engagement 

Public Relations & Brand

  • Own and manage the organization’s public relations strategy 
  • Build relationships with media, industry partners, and external stakeholders 
  • Draft statements and executive communications 
  • Ensure brand consistency across all external channels 

Events & Experiences

  • Plan and execute internal and external events from concept to completion 
  • Manage event logistics, budgets, vendors, and timelines 
  • Create memorable, brand-aligned experiences that strengthen engagement and culture 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Ensure alignment across marketing, operations, and leadership communications 
  • Support reputation management and crisis communication when needed 

What You Bring 

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, and/or event planning 
  • Experience in healthcare, dental, or multi-site organizations preferred (DSO experience is a strong plus) 
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and editing skills 
  • Experience using Axios HQ or similar communication platforms 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders 
  • Experience managing budgets and event spend 
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills 
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment 

What to Expect 

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office (The Nations), 2 days remote 
  • Minimal travel
