Job Overview:
As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a fast-paced, busy team environment. We strive each and every day to provide a fun and safe atmosphere and deliver a phenomenal dining experience for all who walk through our doors. Weekend Availability is a Must! Pay Based on Experience
Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Follows proper Dress Code and SERV safe/Health Department guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift to 50 pounds
- Ensure the dishwasher is working properly and that cleaning and sanitizing solutions are dispensing correctly.
- Promptly report any technical/performance issues.
- Load and unload dishwashing machines
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand when necessary. Ensure all dishes are cleaned and sanitized properly.
- Sort and organize all cleaned items in designated areas.
- Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours
- Remove garbage regularly and maintain restrooms when requested by management.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen/dish area by sanitizing the kitchen area, including the floor and tabletop
- surfaces, washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by Opening and/or Closing of the kitchen properly and following the checklist for kitchen stations.
- Assists others in opening and/or closing the kitchen as needed.
- Helps maintain the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, prep, walk-ins, restrooms, dish areas, and outside areas through the daily/weekly/monthly cleaning lists.
- Attends all scheduled employee meetings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or manager-on-duty.
