Position Title: Data Analyst (Information Technology)

Department: Engineering

Location: Santa Ana, CA 

FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time 


Job Summary: 

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support IT operations and business decision-making. This role works closely with IT and cross-functional teams to identify trends, improve system performance, and provide actionable insights.


Key Responsibilities: 

· Collect, clean, and analyze data from IT systems and business applications 

· Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations 

· Monitor system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement 

· Support IT projects by providing data insights and analysis 

· Collaborate with internal teams to understand data needs and requirements 

· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security standards are maintained 

· Document processes, data definitions, and reporting methods


Qualifications: 

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field 

· 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within an IT environment 

· Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) 

· Understanding of databases and data structures 


Physical Requirements: 

· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 

· Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, and other office equipment 

· Ability to view computer screens for extended periods 

· Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach, or lift up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., office equipment or files) 

· Ability to communicate effectively, including speaking and hearing
