Are you a persuasive communicator who loves building relationships and thrives in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment? We’re seeking a full-time Wine Club Associate to join our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team and help grow one of Sonoma’s most beloved wine clubs. This role combines proactive sales outreach, personalized service, and behind-the-scenes logistics to deliver exceptional experiences and drive revenue growth.


As a key member of our DTC sales team, you’ll use your people skills and product knowledge to connect with wine lovers, promote exclusive offers, and turn everyday interactions into loyal, long-term memberships.


This is a regular (full-time), non-exempt position. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday with the requirement to work occasional weekend events and holidays, as well as flexibility in scheduling to ensure business-staffing needs are met. 


The anticipated pay range for this non-exempt position is between $23.00 and $27.00 per hour plus commissions.


What You’ll Do

  • Drive wine club sales and retention by making proactive outbound calls, texts, and emails to new, current, and former members
  • Recommend wines and upsell members during club release periods to increase average order value and increase overall club revenue
  • Follow up with guests who have abandoned carts, declined payments, or canceled memberships to recover sales and strengthen relationships
  • Respond to inbound communications with professionalism and product expertise, turning customer inquiries into purchase opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to campaign and event success through thoughtful, timely member outreach
  • Support the tasting room and wine club events as needed to enhance the member experience
  • Answer inbound phone calls for both Wine Club and Reservations teams. Book reservations for members and non-members, working closely with tasting room and events managers.
Requirements

  


What We're Looking For


• 2+ years of proven success in a sales, customer service, or account management role (wine or hospitality experience is a plus!)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills—you’re confident on the phone and can build rapport quickly

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working with monthly sales targets

• Organized and tech-savvy, with experience using POS, CRM, and communication tools

• Passion for wine, storytelling, and delivering exceptional guest experiences

• Ability to work Tuesday–Saturday, including weekends and holidays as needed
