We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Junior Detection Engineer to join our security team. This role is designed for a proactive problem-solver with a strong foundation in computer science and a proven track record of leading technical initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage their programming proficiency to develop, refine, and manage automated detection logic while maintaining high accuracy across multiple projects.
What You'll Do:
- Detection Development: Use Python, Java, and JavaScript to script, automate, and enhance threat detection workflows and security alerts.
- Analytical Problem Solving: Apply critical thinking and advanced problem-resolution skills to investigate security anomalies and complex technical issues.
- Project Management: Manage multiple concurrent security projects, ensuring results are delivered with high organizational standards and effective communications .
- Collaboration & Leadership: Partner with cross-functional teams to drive success and advance organizational security objectives.
- Logic Optimization: Utilize C++ and HTML knowledge to understand and defend against diverse attack vectors within web and system environments.
What We Are Looking For:
- Advanced Programming: Proficiency in Java and JavaScript.
- Core Scripting: Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Foundational Knowledge: Completion of specialized Computer Science coursework and a history of academic excellence in technical subjects.
- Problem-Solving: Critical thinking and a dedicated approach to resolution.
- Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and effective under high-pressure situations.
