Description

Clearance: Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance is preferred


Work Schedule: Fully Remote, Monday-Friday, 40 hours roughly 9am-5pm EST, 10-15% Travel CONUS


Role Overview:

In this role, you will own the full lifecycle recruiting process supporting US Department of Defense/War programs across IT, logistics, training, and professional services. You will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to develop recruiting strategies, fill active program needs, and proactively pipeline candidates for future contract awards. This position requires a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who can operate independently, improve recruiting operations, and drive efficient, high-quality hiring outcomes.

Specific Skillset

  • Lead full lifecycle recruiting for DoD programs, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring
  • Partner with hiring managers to draft job descriptions and post openings for new and existing programs
  • Source candidates using platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn, as well as through proactive pipeline development
  • Support proposal efforts by providing salary survey data and recruiting insights
  • Conduct incumbent capture and transition staffing for newly awarded contracts
  • Manage offer process including salary negotiations and candidate closing
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including orientation, paperwork, and first-day logistics
  • Organize and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Manage job postings and advertising strategies on Indeed and other platforms
  • Attend career fairs, networking events, and industry engagements to build talent pipelines
  • Analyze turnover trends and partner with HR and program leadership to improve retention strategies
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert (SME) for recruiting and staffing processes across the organization
Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, AIRS, or similar) preferred

Experience Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting supporting DoD or government contracts
  • Experience recruiting for technical, logistics, and professional services roles
  • Experience supporting proposal staffing and/or contingent hiring efforts preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and meet aggressive time-to-fill goals
