Position Overview:

The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons to students in grades Pre-K through 8. The ideal candidate will foster a love for language learning while integrating religious values into the classroom experience. This is a part-time position, with the schedule to be determined upon hiring.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Previous teaching experience preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A commitment to supporting the mission and values of Immaculate Conception School and the Catholic Church

Ability to plan and implement creative, interactive lessons appropriate to varying grade levels

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Spanish instruction to multiple grade levels

Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

Encourage students to develop an appreciation for Spanish language and culture

Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support the overall mission of the school

Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents as needed
