We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting professional with a strong background in accounting and financial operations within a supply chain or manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for professionals who have recently worked as a functional business analyst, corporate accountant, or assistant controller and have hands-on ERP system experience. 

The ERP Consultant – Finance will partner with clients to assess financial processes, translate business requirements into ERP solutions, and support system implementations and enhancements. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost accounting, along with the ability to bridge the gap between finance and operations. 

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to evaluate and improve financial processes within supply chain and manufacturing environments using ERP solutions. 
• Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives focused on finance and accounting functions. 
• Translate business and financial requirements into ERP system configurations and process improvements. 
• Provide expertise in job costing, manufacturing accounting, and product costing. 
• Ensure alignment of ERP solutions with financial reporting requirements, compliance standards, and internal controls. 
• Analyze financial workflows and identify opportunities for improved efficiency, automation, and data accuracy. 
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of financial processes. 
• Perform requirements gathering, solution design, system testing, and user adoption activities. 
• Deliver clear documentation, training, and guidance to ensure successful system utilization.
• Participate in client meetings and consulting engagements, both virtual and onsite.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• 8+ years of experience working in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of  accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance. 
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly financial modules, in supply chain or manufacturing settings.
• Experience in one or more of the following functional areas: Job Costing, Manufacturing Accounting, Product Costing.
• Strong understanding of financial processes within a supply chain environment. 
• Solid understanding of ERP system concepts, structure, and data flows. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a consulting/professional services environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Distraction-free remote workspace with the ability to fully participate in virtual/video meetings.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship (no sponsorship available).

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Oracle JD Edwards ERP.
• Exposure to workflow automation tools, such as low-code/no-code automation platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-powered services or tools used to enhance business processes, analytics, or operational efficiency.
• Prior experience working in ERP implementations, system optimization, or consulting engagements.
