Meat & Seafood Counter Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented counter attendant to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to store standards and customer requests

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department, including refrigeration units and workstations

- Ensure all meat products are properly labeled, priced, and stocked

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering questions

- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management for stock replenishment

- Adhere to food safety regulations and quality standards at all times

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a meat department or similar food service role preferred

- Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation, and safety standards

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items

- Must be at least 18 years old
