Description

Aduro Advisors is looking for bright and talented individuals to join our growing Finance team. The Senior Corporate Finance and Accounting Analyst plays a critical role in supporting a 400+ employee organization by supporting core accounting operations and key FP&A processes with a strong focus on accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement. This role partners closely across the organization, collaborating with business leaders, vendors, and employees, and reports directly to the Corporate Director of Finance with dotted-line reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller to support the company’s financial operations and growth.

This role bridges Accounting and Finance, supporting both operational accounting accuracy and forward-looking financial planning. The position partners closely with Finance leadership to ensure strong financial reporting, workforce planning visibility, and scalable internal processes as the company grows.


Here is the type of work you will do:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Support preparation of annual budget and periodic forecast preparation, partnering with department leaders to develop accurate forecasts aligned with company objectives
  • Prepare and maintain monthly departmental Budget vs. Actual (BvA) reporting, including variance analysis
  • Maintain and administer FP&A systems and tools, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and continuous process improvement
  • Reconcile Roster Compensation data to ensure alignment between HR, payroll, and financial reporting

Accounting & Month-End Close

  • Serve as Month-End Close preparer for payroll and payroll-related accounts, including:
  • Payroll journal entries
  • Accruals and related reconciliations
  • Benefits, bonus, and compensation-related accounting
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll-related financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) function, including Ramp system maintenance, invoice processing, coding accuracy, approval workflows, and payment execution
  • Support broader month-end close activities, including expense accruals and continuous improvement of close processes 

Operational Finance & Data Maintenance

  • Maintain tracking and maintenance for outsourced resources billed through Ramp, ensuring accurate reflection of hiring timelines and cost impacts
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies across HR systems, payroll, accounting records and financial reports
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and PeopleOps to strengthen data consistency across systems


The salary for the Senior Corporate Finance and Accounting Analyst role will range from $75,000 - $90,000. Salary is determined based on current market data and candidate experience level.

Requirements
  • 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience in corporate accounting, including payroll, AP, journal entries, account reconciliations, audit, or a hybrid accounting/finance role, preferably within a high-growth or professional services environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred)
  • Experience supporting month-end close, including payroll accounting, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Experience working with financial reporting, variance analysis, or budgeting processes
  • Strong ability to reconcile and validate financial and operational data across systems
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including data analysis and reconciliation
  • Comfortable working with ERP/accounting systems, payroll platforms, and financial reporting tools
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on data accuracy and continuous improvement
