The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Service Designer who’s more than just a designer — someone who can think like a consultant, work like a builder, and thrive in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats: designing, facilitating, strategizing, and rolling up their sleeves to make things happen.


What You'll Do

  • Partner with client and internal teams to design end-to-end experiences that transform how organizations deliver value, particularly in an artificial intelligent environment
  • Lead or support service design activities including journey mapping, service blueprints, experience prototyping, and opportunity framing.
  • Translate research and insights into actionable strategies, roadmaps, and service concepts.
  • Facilitate collaborative workshops that align cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Act as a strategic consultant — advising clients, facilitating workshops, and helping teams align around a shared vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional disciplines (business strategists, applied data, emerging technology, experience management, etc.) both within our firm, partners, and client organizations.
  • Move fluidly between high-level thinking and hands-on doing — from shaping vision decks to building MVPs and operational processes.
  • Contribute to shaping our young firm’s culture, tools, and methodologies as we grow.
Requirements

   

What You'll Bring


Service & Experience Design

  • Service design expertise, including designing at the systems level (beyond UI)
  • Experience in service design, experience strategy, or consulting (5+ years; agency or in-house)

Consulting & Strategic Thinking

  • Consulting mindset with the ability to advise clients and structure complex problems
  • Clear, confident communication with executive-level stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and shape new, undefined spaces

Collaboration & Ways of Working

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with internal teams and client partners
  • Highly organized approach to managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables
  • Builder mentality with willingness to contribute to both strategic and hands-on work

Communication & Facilitation

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling abilities
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives

Industry & Environment Experience

Experience working in early-stage companies, startups, or innovation teams


Adjacent Skills & Knowledge

Familiarity with related disciplines such as:

  • Data products
  • AI strategy
  • Experience management

Salary: Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including skill set, experience, and qualifications. The range of starting base pay for this role is $120,000-$135,000.
