Job Overview Summary
The Senior Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities while managing a portfolio of high-value accounts. This role focuses on fostering strong client relationships, understanding customer security needs, and delivering tailored solutions. The SAE aims to drive revenue growth through strategic sales efforts and exemplary client service.
What you’ll be doing (and doing well!):
- Manages/owns the relationship of key assigned datacenter customer accounts, serving as the primary Minuteman POC
- includes engaging with customer stakeholder(s) on regular basis (security leadership and security operations)
- becomes a trusted advisor for the customer
- Can effectively communicate anticipated annual growth for each responsible account to the Director and other appropriate MST leadership
- Will be able to break down expected growth by the quarter
- At all times, knows which projects are bidding and which are in the developmental stages
- Assist engineering with customer site walks and in-person meetings
- Assist engineering with all quotes and RFP responses
- Maintains proper CRM hygiene at all times and will provide accurate revenue forecast
- Leads internal hand-off to operations once projects get booked in CW
- Required in-person visits monthly to project sites while in process
- Expected to keep customer informed of new product released and help design integrating and incorporating as necessary
- Participate in weekly update meetings with Datacenter Vertical Director

Sales & Account Management
- Prior sales experience, ideally within the security or technology industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing high-value accounts.
Communication & Negotiation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in negotiating complex contracts and presenting compelling solutions to clients.
Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with security products and solutions is a plus.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate security services.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).

Pay Transparency Statement
The base salary range for this role is $93,100 - $170,900. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus or commission in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
