Description
We are seeking enthusiastic Camp Counselors to join our team for an upcoming summer camp. As a Camp Counselor, you will be responsible for supervising and engaging campers in various activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.
General Functions:
Under the direction of the Camp Director and Program Director, the Counselor will assist in the implementation of the day-to day operation and activities of camp.
Responsibilities/Functions/Duties/Tasks
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Supervises, creates and implements camp activities.
- Supervises program staff.
- Ensures safety of programs.
- Facilitate activity signups, changes and special cabin activities.
- Acts as a resource and assists support staff with various responsibilities.
- Substitutes for counselors when necessary.
- Monitors staff performance and participates in evaluations.
- Completes appropriate paperwork related to camp maintenance and ordering of supplies.
- Assists with maintenance of campgrounds and cabins.
- Assists with camper behavioral issues.
- Ensures proper operation of the Camp store including cleanliness, organization and records of transactions.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- 18 years old and one year camp staff experience.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred but will train

Salary Description
$270-$360/week
