Training Design & Implementation Specialist 

Core Focus & Summary

  • Lead the strategic, end-to-end design, development, and implementation of all new and modernized learning content, curriculum, and high-impact training programs across the organization.
  • Manage the full content lifecycle—from initial discovery, needs analysis, and strategic user experience (UX) design to pilot, hands-on facilitation, evaluation, and content governance—ensuring all learning assets remain accurate, relevant, and accessible.
  • Serve as a project lead and a central liaison for critical training initiatives, partnering with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to drive successful adoption of major organizational change, new technology, and advanced skill development.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Content Design & Strategy: Design and launch comprehensive training materials, including curriculum, slide decks, resource guides, and new program content for major technology rollouts and system refreshes.
  • Curriculum Development: Lead the content refresh and design for annual or recurring company-wide training events and design all materials for new training programs and advanced certification courses (e.g., Mentor Certification Class, Sales Training refresh).
  • Discovery Leadership: Lead the discovery and design phase for new, high-level organizational training initiatives.
  • UX/Strategy: Manage the learning strategy and user experience design for system updates and internal resource management tools.
  • Training Design and Project Management: Manage the design and learning experience for new system and operational pilots and launches.
  • Facilitation: Facilitate recurring onboarding sessions and manage related post-training evaluation and reporting.
  • Support & Oversight: Provide backup support for recurring system-focused mentor sessions and office hours.
  • Project Leadership: Own and manage training design and implementation for key operational programs and initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the central training liaison, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders across the organization to scope, design, and validate new learning content related to technical and operational changes.1
  • Content Governance: Manage the ongoing maintenance, version control, and modernization of all existing learning assets and curriculum to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and accessibility across all platforms.
Requirements

Required Skills & Experience 

  • Instructional Design Expertise: Proven expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles for both in-person and digital content.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, specifically the ability to manage complex, end-to-end training rollouts for new software/technology implementations and operational revisions.
  • Curriculum Design: Demonstrated ability to design curriculum and resources that support high-level organizational training initiatives.
  • Event Design Experience: Experience in designing for high-impact events and large-scale, recurring training programs.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment where excellence is the expectation.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proven expertise in instructional design tools such as Powerpoint, Articulate, Adobe, Synthesia, Camtasia, Canva, and more, to create relevant, engaging, and "sticky" training.
  • Stakeholder Focus: Strong people-centric mentality, meaning customers and stakeholders are at the heart of everything created and implemented
  • Needs Analysis and Discovery: Proven ability to lead initial discovery phases, conduct thorough needs assessments, and translate high-level organizational goals and technical requirements into effective learning objectives and content strategies.
  • Training Evaluation and Measurement: Experience in designing and implementing post-training evaluation and reporting to measure training effectiveness, content retention, and business impact.
  • Learning Strategy and UX Design: Demonstrated skill in managing the learning strategy and user experience (UX) design for system updates and internal resource management tools, ensuring content is easy to access and intuitive for all users.
