Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead and oversee the accounting and financial operations across a multi-entity business group. This is a leadership role for someone who wants ownership of the financial engine of an operational business.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
- Lead monthly close within 10 business days
- Maintain GAAP-compliant financials
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory accounting
- Oversee reconciliations and intercompany accounting
AR/AP Oversight
- Supervise AR/AP staff
- Improve collections and reduce aging
- Strengthen internal controls
Cash Flow & Debt Management
- Maintain 13-week cash flow forecast
- Monitor loans and lines of credit
- Support lender reporting
Reporting & KPIs
- Prepare monthly and consolidated reports
- Perform budget vs. actual analysis
- Build KPI dashboards
Compliance & Audit
- Manage audits and tax filings
- Coordinate with external CPA
- 7–10+ years accounting experience
- Multi-entity experience required
- Strong understanding of debt, inventory, and fixed assets
- QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel
- Leadership experience
