Zak Designs is looking for an energetic, organized, hardworking, team player to join our Product Marketing team. The Product Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the Product Marketing team. This position will provide administrative coordination with various product marketing issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following is an overview of the main duties for this position and is not all-inclusive of each task that may be performed in this role.
- Manage the sending and receiving of samples both internally and externally
- Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and timely delivery to support project timelines and quality standards on all samples.
- Perform item setup and ongoing maintenance of line plan items within the system.
- Coordinate and send detailed requests to the art studio, ensuring clarity of requirements, deadlines, and project specifications to facilitate accurate and timely deliverables.
- Process Zak Branded product approval forms and update status in the system.
- Proactively follow up on requests from other departments to ensure timely completion, addressing any delays or obstacles to maintaining project schedules and operational efficiency.
- Attend meetings to capture detailed notes, highlighting key discussions, decisions, and actionable items for timely follow-up and documentation.
- Assist with collecting and organizing trend research, competitor information, and audience data to support the development of new programs.
- Maintain internal and external line plan documents, ensuring all information is accurate, up to date, and consistently reflected across sources.
- Prepare quote requests in the system accurately and promptly for managers’ review and further processing by the appropriate team member.
- Assist with submitting and tracking packaging and imaging requests for products to ensure materials are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain the competitor POG showroom, ensuring displays are accurate and reflect the most recent customer updates and assortment changes.

- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and/or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Maintain exceptional organization by prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and non-verbally with active listening and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interact in one-on-one and small group situations
- Demonstrate adaptability by effectively managing shifting priorities, embracing new challenges, and adjusting to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to balance and prioritize projects in a manner that will allow for prompt completion of the task.
- Must be able to tactfully deal with various personalities throughout the company and deal effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
- Required program applications include Microsoft Outlook (intermediate level), Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), Microsoft PowerPoint (intermediate level).
