What would you be doing?
- Maintaining staff schedules
- Ensure the safety, well-being and personal growth of campers.
- Coordinating multiple camps at various sites
- Be an active and supportive member of the summer camp team
- Demonstrate positive, professional role modeling at all times, acting in a manner that is consistent with the staff code of conduct and the philosophy, and goals for campers and co-counselors.
- Communicating with parents of campers in person and on phone.
- Transportation for self and camp supplies.
- Work camps in Sherwood, Tigard, West Linn and Wilsonville.
- Available to work program hours for shifts between 8:00 am -5:00 pm
Requirements
What do you need to qualify?
- Must pass YMCA background check
- Possess (or obtain during training) a current CPR/AED & First Aid Certification
- 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing teams of staff
- Experience working with youth
