Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Ocala, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in a high-acuity environment within a Level I Trauma Center.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The MICU RN provides critical care to medically complex patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. This role focuses on delivering patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

SCHEDULE
• Day or night shifts available with rotating weekends

COMPENSATION
• Hourly rate $32.00 to $48.00 based on experience
• Night differential $4.25/hr
• Weekend differential $3.00/hr

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide comprehensive critical care nursing for MICU patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding to changes rapidly
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Manage complex medical cases including ventilators and advanced monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• ARRT certification required
• Active Florida Radiologic Technologist license required
• BLS certification required (within 30 days of start)
