Connected Logistics is seeking a Product Technical Lead(IT SUBJECT Matter III) to serve as the technical authority for Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Applications, leading architecture and delivery of digital forms and eligibility-driven workflows across Health Enrollment (HEC – Health Eligibility Center) and Veteran and Family Member Programs (VFMP) product lines. Responsible for designing, integrating, and evolving complex VA.gov forms (e.g., 10-10EZ, CHAMPVA) and ensuring each sprint delivers production-ready, fully integrated workflow increments within VA governance constraints.


Key Responsibiities

  

  • Lead architecture across VA.gov and downstream systems. 
  • Define engineering standards and integration patterns. 
  • Oversee sprint delivery and production readiness. 
  • Guide AI-assisted development and validation practices. 
  • Coordinate across Product, HCD, and DevSecOps. 
  • Support security, 508, and governance compliance. 
Requirements

  

  • 10+ years enterprise application development/architecture. 
  • Strong experience with React, APIs, and system integration.
  • Be well versed with 2-week iterations of agile software delivery.
  • Must have experience with digital forms(not just API's or UI work).
  • Must have experience with Workflow logic(branching, eligibility and submission pipelines).
  • Must have hands on experience with systems that pass data to downstream platforms.

AI-Assisted Development Experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Claude (or similar tools). 
  • Proven ability to govern AI-generated outputs, validate code quality, and integrate AI into controlled development workflows. 
  • Use AI to accelerate development, testing, and integration while maintaining compliance and production standards.

 

Preferred VA Experience

  •  10-10EZ, 10-10EZR, 10-10CG, CHAMPVA (10-10D, 10-7959 series). 
  •  Vets-website, vets-api, VA Forms Library. 
  •  VA Collaboration Cycle, HEC workflows, VFMP programs. 


Preferred Certifications (Not Required)

  • AWS Solutions Architect 
  • SAFe Agilist or CSM 
  • CISSP or Security+ (Sec+)
  • Kubernetes (CKA) 

 

Total Rewards Statement


We believe in fairness and clarity throughout our hiring process. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $185,000.00-$195,000.00. This is a good faith range based on factors such as your experience, geographic location, any applicable contractual requirements, and may vary slightly.
