Description
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Administration of bi-weekly payrolls
- Timely and accurately process payroll for a fluctuating workforce of full time and part time employees (tipped and non-tipped) using Paylocity and Toast
- Prepare and distribute standard and custom payroll reports
- Review, process, and reconcile time off requests and balances
- Work with our payroll provider to reconcile tax inquiries and/or discrepancies
- Interact daily in a professional manner with all levels of employees to address wages and benefits
- Assist employees in requests for employment and payroll documents
- Assist A/P Specialist with processing invoices
- Daily maintenance and reconciliation of event & catering sales
- Assist accounting & HR teams with miscellaneous daily, weekly and monthly tasks
- Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary
- Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictates
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of payroll experience (including 1 year in a full service, tipped restaurant)
- Strong analytical skills, computer proficiency and technical aptitude; Microsoft 365 (including Excel) and Google Suite
- Experience with HR information systems (Paylocity is a plus)
- Ability to handle stress under pressure and multitask
- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision; self-motivated and anticipate needs of company
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Ability to be flexible with job demands and open minded when being asked to complete tasks
- Onsite, in office work environment

Salary Description
$55,000-$60,000
