We move fast, operate across 36 states, and take our financial integrity seriously.  We're looking for a Sr. Collections Specialist who brings the same energy, someone who can manage a complex commercial portfolio with confidence, make smart decisions independently, and resolve difficult situations without losing the client relationship in the process.

This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who knows collections inside and out, understands commercial agreements, and can walk into a billing dispute and own it from start to finish.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a high-volume B2B commercial account portfolio, prioritizing outreach based on risk and delinquency levels; proactively contact clients by phone and email to negotiate payment arrangements and recover past-due balances
  • Apply sound judgment in selecting the right collection strategy for each account whether that's a payment plan, escalation, or referral to legal or a third-party agency and maintain accurate documentation in our ERP or collections management system
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex billing disputes, owning each case from identification through resolution; evaluate validity, gather documentation, and communicate outcomes clearly and professionally
  • Verify that invoices align with contractual terms before and during the collections process; identify recurring billing issues and escalate systemic problems to management with recommended solutions
  • Monitor aging reports daily, assess portfolio health, adjust strategies accordingly, and keep management informed on high-risk accounts, open disputes, and overall portfolio status

What We're Looking For

  • Deep expertise in commercial collections processes and agreement interpretation
  • Confident, independent decision-maker who can assess complex situations and act
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, you work well with finance, legal, and client-facing teams
  • Meticulous documentation habits and experience with ERP or collections management systems
  • A professional communicator who can deliver difficult news without burning bridges

  • Communication & Dispute Resolution: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, persuasive, and diplomatic approach; decisive and solutions-oriented with the analytical ability to independently resolve complex billing disputes.
  • Find a Way to Win: Results Orientation, Initiative
  • Act Like an Owner: Accountability, Leadership, Business Acumen
  • Be Reliable: Dependability, Execution, Time Management

Education:
