REPORTS TO: F&B Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Server Assistant with Le Meridien St Louis Clayton, you will be responsible for table the set-up and clearance of dining tables, stocking of all server stations, and assisting the service in the dining/event room in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner in accordance with the high standards of the hotel and brand.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed.
  • Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
  • Transport all dirty tableware from table to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
  • Participate in ensuring the dining room is clean & presentable to guests. This could include but not limited to sweeping/moping of floors and detail cleaning of outlets.
  • Assist Servers when requested
  • Conducts oneself in a professional manner with awareness that all actions/communications are withing guest view
  • Responds immediately and graciously to guest service issues and report the situation to the appropriate Server or Manager
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
  • Assist running food to dining room/pool deck
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to walk and stand for throughout an eight hour 
  • Ability to move quietly and gracefully through a small area with trays
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs frequently with or without a reasonable accommodation
