The Club Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase awareness and engagement of clubs. In this position, you will play a crucial role in relationship-building, visibility, and alignment with schools. The primary responsibilities will revolve around creating compelling club content and managing production of marketing materials, including print and digital collateral, and club communications initiatives to increase the organization's visibility and engage with target audiences.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to:
Internal & Partner Support
· Support Clubs with school-friendly messaging, flyers, and parent communications
· Assist with district-facing communications, approvals, and recognitions
· Translate school-based impact into content that supports fundraising, grants, and stewardship
Storytelling & Visibility
· Conduct regular visits to school-based Clubs to capture high-quality photos, videos, and success stories
· Proactively identify and elevate student, staff, and program successes
· Ensure school-based Clubs are equitably represented across social media, newsletters, campaigns, and reports
Relationship & School Engagement
· Serve as the main communications liaison for all school-based Clubs
· Build and maintain relationships with principals, assistant principals, and key school staff
· Establish and maintain consistent communication routines with school-based Club Directors
· Support a positive and collaborative presence within schools to strengthen partnerships and trust
Other Duties
· Completes any additional assignments as requested by supervisor
· Actively participate in BGCA trainings, internal trainings, and All Staff meetings
· Oversee branding within Clubs and Club marketing materials
· Increased involvement in event branding and event marketing
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous, but not required.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent copywriting and editing abilities.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools and video editing software is preferred
- Graphic design and utilizing tools such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Knowledge of various marketing strategies and tools such as retargeting, geo-fencing ad campaigns, print & digital marketing, etc.
- Videography & photography skills preferred, but not required
- Proven experience in developing and implementing communications strategies
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in communications
Travel
Some travel may be required for training and/or other business purposes.
Working conditions
Our offices, neighborhood clubhouses, and school-based clubs are fast-paced work environments and are strategically located in areas of St. Lucie County where youth need us most. Based on the organization's needs, flexibility to work different schedules and work in different locations in St. Lucie County is required due to changing business demands.
