Description

The Fulton Theatre Company seeks a Donor Relations Specialist to assist with day-to-day development and fundraising efforts and special events with a special focus on individual and corporate donors at the $1,000-$4,999 level.  This position, reporting to the Executive Director of Development is a Full-time, exempt position.


 Primary Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the annual Individuals Campaign efforts (i.e. renewal, acquisition, subscription) involving donors $4,999 & below.   
  • Lead and manage the annual Broadbase Corporate Campaign for businesses contributing $2,999 & below. 
  • Lead and manage the Performance Sponsorship program for businesses and individuals contributing $1,250.
  • Lead and manage participation in the Lancaster County Community Foundation’s annual Extra Give.      
  • Assist with annual donor solicitation letters, support materials, thank you letters and phone calls.
  • Create and organize gift documentation and maintain donor files and records for the above areas.
  • Review weekly acknowledgement reports and assist with monthly pledge billing reports and invoicing.
  • Provide an outstanding experience for donors by assisting with the dedicated Producers Circle hotline.
  • Coordinate development event preparation and represent the development team at sponsor receptions, dinners, performances, and other events.
  • Support the Executive Director of Development with executing the season-long timeline and the oversight of donor events.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are within the scope of the job classification.
Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent writing/editing, customer service, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Superior administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently but also collaboratively on simultaneous projects with other internal departments
  • Tactful, diplomatic and able to maintain confidential or sensitive financial information.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit database systems; experience with Tessitura a plus
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
  • Able and willing to work flexible hours when necessary, including evenings and weekends.

 Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or two or more years of related experience in donor relations, events management and/or fundraising.

Salary Description
$55,000 to $60,000 per year
