What You’ll Do

  

As the Interoperability and HIE Modernization Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of Indiana’s Health Information Exchange modernization efforts under the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP). You will manage project timelines, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and reporting across a complex multi-agency initiative. This role requires working closely with health IT vendors, state agency partners, and leadership to ensure that interoperability investments align with CMS performance goals and federal reporting requirements. You will be expected to navigate technical environments, facilitate cross-functional workgroups, and translate complex interoperability requirements into actionable project plans.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, health informatics, or information systems; master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of directly applicable project or program management experience in health IT, healthcare operations, or public health
  • Working knowledge of healthcare data exchange, interoperability concepts, or HIE environments
  • Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Experience with government or federally funded health IT initiatives preferred
