The Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Senior will provide acquisition and program management support to ensure compliance with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy policies and life cycle management processes. The selected candidate will support the development of program milestone documentation, assist with acquisition reporting tools, and contribute to the preparation of key acquisition and contract documentation.
The Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Senior will work closely with Government leadership and program personnel to support acquisition planning, execution, and reporting activities across all phases of the program lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced acquisition environment, with demonstrated experience leading or managing complex programs.
Required Education:
Master’s degree (MA/MS) from an accredited college or university.
Required Experience:
Over 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description, with at least five (5) years of experience successfully managing Electronic Warfare (EW) technology development programs.
Desired Experience:
At least five (5) years of experience supporting NAVAIR program management, technical, or business analysis disciplines related to acquisition and life cycle management.
Functional Description:
Supports and drafts program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives. Assists with program digital reporting tools such as Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE), Qlik Sense Enterprise, RDA Information System (RDAIS), and the Procurement Management Tool (PMT). Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), Procurement Initiation Document (PID), Statement of Work (SOW), funding documents, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements. Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares, and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards.
Position Location: Government office located in Patuxent River, MD (Work Schedule: Monday through Friday)
