Description

 The Teller Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Teller line, ensuring efficient service, accuracy in transactions and compliance with all policies and regulations. This role leads, coaches, and develops teller staff while promoting a positive member experience aligned with the credit union’s mission and values.

Requirements

 Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate daily teller operations to ensure smooth workflow and adequate staffing

· Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to teller staff

· Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers

· Approve transaction within assigned authority limits and resolve complex or escalated member issues

· Monitor cash levels, perform audits, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed

· Balance vault, ATM, and teller drawers/recyclers; investigate and resolve discrepancies

· Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations (e.g, BSA, Reg CC, OFAC)

· Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and coverage planning

· Train new Tellers and support ongoing staff development

· Promote credit union products and services to meet member needs

· Always maintain a high level of member service and professionalism

· Support branch goals and assist with operational and sales initiatives


Qualifications:

Required:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· 2-5 years of teller or cash handling experience

· Previous supervisory or leadership experience

· Familiarity with credit union philosophy and member-first service approach

· Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and OFAC requirements

· Understanding of fraud prevention, CTR/SAR reporting, and audit processes

· Experience with dual control procedures and branch security standards

Work Environment:

· Branch environment with frequent member interaction

· Standing for extended periods may be required

· Ability to lift and move currency/coin (up to 50lbs)

· Flexible schedule, including Saturdays
