What You’ll Do: 


Leads the industrial vacuum business with responsibility for driving profitable sales growth through strong relationship management and the development of both existing and new market channels. Focus areas include distribution partners—such as distributors, representatives, packagers, machine suppliers, and OEMs—as well as selected direct customers across the United States, with an initial emphasis on the Southeast and Midwest regions.


Represents the full Vooner portfolio of industrial vacuum products and integrated solutions, including rough and medium vacuum pumps, vacuum boosters, and associated systems.


Success in this role requires strong commercial and technical skills, coupled with a high level of personal drive and proactive, effective communication.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Develops, partners with, and works closely to expand relationships with existing and new channels—including Direct, Reps, Distributors, Packagers, OEMs, and machine suppliers—to serve the rough and medium vacuum markets, ensuring a well aligned, scalable network of high fit channel partners focused on prioritized offerings and market segments

• Calls on selected end use customers, partners, packagers, OEMs, and engineering firms who specify or purchase equipment, effectively influencing specifications to include Vooner solutions while providing clear expectations, accountability, and Voice of Customer/Partner insights to internal stakeholders.

• Effectively manages relationships and understands the landscape of optimizing channels to market —maintaining clarity around account ownership, territories, pursuit priorities, and influencing decision makers to win business in the short, medium, and long term.

• Provides professional and proactive technical and commercial support to stakeholders, ensuring strong solutions related to equipment selection, specifications, standards compliance, and total cost of ownership, while serving as the primary commercial owner for key distributor and rep relationships.

• Assist in preparing quotations and bid submittals as required—working closely with inside sales and technical support teams—while ensuring pricing policies, Delegation of Authority, discount structures, rebates, and contract terms are adhered to.

• Prepares and delivers professional presentations, coordinates education and enablement efforts, and supports channel partners in the field to achieve business goals—reinforcing channel capability and contributing to marketing initiatives and sales enablement tools.

• Prepares accurate sales projections, forecasts, strategies, and reports in partnership with the manager and other stakeholders, ensuring a well-documented, visible sales funnel with strong CRM discipline and a consistent forecast cadence.

• Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans, supports trade show preparation, and attends/works industry events as needed to strengthen channel engagement and opportunity creation.

• Supports order processing and commercial handoff efforts, ensuring smooth post PO transitions to Customer Service and effective coordination across the full order execution lifecycle.

• Works closely with the Vooner support team, partners, and end customers, collaborating professionally with project management, engineering, production, and customer support to provide critical customer knowledge and deliver a seamless commercial experience.

• Performs additional duties as assigned, maintaining high standards of professionalism, accountability, and cross functional collaboration.

Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:


Education:


Bachelor’s/and or master’s degree with relevant experience managing sales and channel partnerships in the industrial marketplace.


Experience (yrs):


 5+ Years of documented successful experience in industrial market channel development and sale of industrial/vacuum equipment is required.  Direct experience with rough and medium vacuum pumps and linked systems are a strong plus


Software/Applications: 


Computer Knowledge: Able to create, use, navigate and perform basic reports at a suitable proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Job-Specific Software: Ability to create, use and retrieve project related information from ERP systems, Product Configurator software, CRM software.


Additional Skills:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages.

• Must have strong inner drive/motivational skills and sense of urgency to meet.

• Partner/Customer commitments in a timely and "above expectations" manner.

• This position requires a self-starter who can manage travel and work in remote locations autonomously.

• This position requires the ability to travel 50-70% of the time.
