Tel Hai has a wonderful opportunity to join our Meadows Health Care Center team as a full time Administrative Assistant 8am-4:30pm Monday - Friday providing clerical support to the Administrator and other positions within the Health Care Center.

Administrative Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervises Health Care Center clerical team members.
- Supports Health Care Administration, Nursing, Admissions, and Social Services on projects, policy and procedure documents, letters, memos, and other necessary typing.
- Assembles admissions packets and maintains records of correspondence and inquiries.
- Mails and maintains records on customer surveys.
- Charts audits and yearly mailings.
- Completes Medicare Part B cut letter process and LTC insurance claims.
- Schedules appointments, maintains files, copies, answers phones and other general clerical support.
- Completes monthly Long Term Care Insurance Claims.
- Performs end of year record retention process.
- Takes and distributes meeting minutes.
- Provides feeding assistance to residents and assists with management of resident dining rooms as needed.
Requirements
Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred, with the ability to read, write and speak the English language.
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Secretarial skills/experience.
- Must have working knowledge of computers and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Supervisory experience preferred.
