East Daley Analytics is seeking a Sales Director who is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading and developing a high-performing sales team. This role owns team quota attainment, pipeline development, and execution of go-to-market strategy across new business and existing accounts.
The Sales Director develops and executes the sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives and go-to-market priorities. This includes defining target segments, optimizing sales processes, and establishing clear performance expectations across the team.
As a people leader, this role focuses on coaching, development, and accountability of sales representatives, enabling them to meet and exceed their individual goals. The Sales Director partners closely with marketing, product, and leadership to refine positioning, improve lead quality, and enhance overall revenue execution.
Key responsibilities include sales planning, forecasting, performance management, and building strong customer engagement strategies through the team. The Sales Director plays a critical role in scaling a predictable and repeatable revenue engine.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
· Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company goals
· Set revenue targets, forecasts, and KPIs
· Identify new market opportunities, segments, and growth channels
2. Team Leadership & Management
· Lead, coach, and develop the sales team (managers, reps, account executives)
· Establish performance metrics and monitor team productivity
· Recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent
3. Revenue Generation
· Drive pipeline development and oversee deal execution
· Manage key accounts and strategic client relationships
· Ensure consistent achievement of revenue and margin targets
4. Process & Operations
· Implement and optimize sales processes, tools, and CRM systems
· Analyze sales data and performance metrics to improve outcomes
· Collaborate with operations to ensure efficient sales execution
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with marketing on lead generation and campaigns
· Partner with product teams to align offerings with market needs
· Coordinate with finance on forecasting and budgeting
6. Market & Customer Insight
· Monitor industry trends, competitors, and customer needs
· Provide feedback to shape product positioning and pricing strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7–12+ years of sales experience, with 3–5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing teams and scaling sales organizations
- Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)

Compensation
- Base salary: $140,000 - $180,000 DTE
- Incentive (target): 30% – 50% of base, tied to revenue growth and strategic objectives
