Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Designer to join our team. This is a full-time role that involves designing custom cabinetry solutions for both residential and commercial projects, using Mozaik software to produce accurate, production-ready drawings. The ideal candidate combines creativity with technical precision and has a strong understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, and workflow. 

 

Key Responsibilities

· Design custom cabinetry layouts for kitchens, bathrooms, offices, retail spaces, and other environments

· Create detailed shop drawings, cut lists, and CNC-ready files using Mozaik software

· Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to understand design requirements and specifications

· Interpret architectural drawings, field measurements, and project plans

· Ensure designs meet functional needs, budget constraints, and aesthetic goals

· Select appropriate materials, hardware, and finishes

· Revise designs based on feedback and field conditions

· Maintain organized project files and documentation

· Coordinate with production and install teams to ensure accurate manufacturing and installation

Requirements

 

Qualifications

· Proven experience in cabinet design for residential and commercial projects (preferred)

· Proficiency in Mozaik cabinet design software (preferred)

· Strong understanding of cabinetry construction methods and materials

· Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings

· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and client-facing abilities

· Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with CNC machining processes

· Knowledge of additional design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp)

· Background in woodworking, millwork, or interior design

· Familiarity with industry standards and building code
