Summary:

The National Accounts Manager (NAM)  serves as the primary liaison between Revere and its most significant national customers in sectors like power distribution, building and construction, and automotive. The NAM is responsible for securing and nurturing long-term business relationships, identifying new high-value business opportunities, and ensuring that the mill’s production output aligns with the technical requirements and delivery schedules of our strategic partners. This individual will execute strategies to exceed sales objectives through effective communication, solution-based selling, and the development of strong customer partnerships.  


Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Account Growth & Management:  

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to increase market share within assigned national accounts, specifically targeting growth sectors: power distribution equipment, data storage, battery energy storage, electric vehicle, and the utility grid. 

Relationship Excellence:  

  • Build and maintain "top-to-top" relationships with key stakeholders (including executive level) at major national partners.  
  • Build strong trust-based relationships to foster long-term partnerships. 

Business Planning & Strategy:  

  • Develop and execute clear customer account strategies.  
  • Conduct business planning and reviews with customers.  

Negotiations & Contracting:  

  • Lead the negotiation of multi-million-dollar supply agreements.  
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies that align with company goals. 
  • Influence pricing and contracting strategies across your customer base.  

Cross-Functional Leadership:  

  • Act as the "voice of the customer" internally, collaborating with production, inside sales, engineering, quality, and logistics teams to ensure technical specifications and delivery schedules are met, and that Gold-Standard service is achieved. 

Market Analysis:  

  • Monitor and report on industry trends, competitor activities, and global economic factors influencing copper supply and demand. 

Performance Tracking:  

  • Utilize Revere systems to manage potential new business, forecast monthly and quarterly demand, and present performance updates to senior leadership. 

Qualifications:

 

Experience:  

  • 5–10 years of Sales, Purchasing, or Plant Leadership experience within the metals, mining, or other manufacturing sectors.  
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, OEMs, fabricated parts manufacturers and service centers are preferred. 
  • Experience with semi-fabricated raw material is a plus.  

Industry Knowledge:  

  • Deep understanding of the copper value chain and its applications in power distribution, infrastructure, automotive, and HVAC  

Technical & Analytical Proficiency:  

  • Strong analytical skills relating to supply chain demands, sales metrics, production and proficiency in Excel are required. 

Travel:  

  • Ability to travel nationally (up to 30–50%) to meet with customers and represent the company at industry events.  Limited international travel (MX/CA). 


Special Demands:

  • May work from Rome, NY office, Mebane, NC office, or Home Office if outside of those two geographic areas.   
  • May experience high noise and industrial environments on a limited basis. 
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions on a limited basis. 


Education / Training:

Minimum:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
