About the Position:

As a Family Wellness Clinician, you’ll play a vital role in helping families heal, rebuild trust, and develop the tools needed to support long-term recovery. This is more than a clinical role—it’s an opportunity to guide meaningful transformation for both clients and their loved ones during one of the most important times in their lives.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility on Tuesday evenings to facilitate Family Orientation from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Your Role:
You’ll serve as a key member of our clinical team, delivering impactful, family-centered care through a variety of services:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy for clients and their loved ones
- Build strong, supportive relationships through regular phone and in-person connections with families
- Lead and contribute to core Family Wellness programming, including:
- Family Empowerment Workshops
- Family Orientation
- Family Support Groups
- Family Dynamics Groups
- Facilitate engaging educational sessions and represent Mountainside through internal and external speaking opportunities
- Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless, high-quality treatment experience
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation
- Model and promote healthy communication, boundaries, and relationship-building skills
- Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Preferred: Full CT licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Required (minimum): LADC, LPC-A, LMFT-A, or LMSW in Connecticut
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment strongly preferred
- Experience in family therapy highly valued
- A passion for working with families and a belief in recovery-oriented care

Compensation:
The base rate of pay for this position is an annual salary of $65,000.00 to $75,000.00. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
