Position Summary
The Sales & Marketing Intern supports Fort Wayne Football Club’s revenue growth and fan engagement efforts through ticket sales initiatives, promotions, and community outreach. This role assists with game day activations, lead generation, and marketing campaigns designed to expand the club’s fanbase. Interns are expected to contribute to both planning and execution of events while providing administrative support to the sales team. The position operates under direct supervision of the Director of Corporate Partnerships and offers hands-on experience in sports sales and marketing operations. This role is ideal for individuals interested in developing skills in sales, promotions, and fan engagement within a sports environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Support ticket sales campaigns and outreach efforts to drive attendance and revenue growth.
- Assist with execution of match day promotions and in-match activations to enhance fan experience.
- Conduct market research and lead generation activities to identify potential customers and partners.
- Help coordinate community events and fan engagement initiatives to increase brand awareness.
- Deliver pocket schedules and promotional materials within the community to support grassroots marketing efforts.
- Provide administrative support to sales staff, including data entry, tracking leads, and organizing materials.
- Represent the club professionally during events, outreach efforts, and match days.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
