About the Role
The BH JI – Navigator provides direct support to justice-involved individuals with behavioral health needs. You’ll work closely with clients, community partners, and justice agencies to ensure individuals receive the services, resources, and guidance necessary to thrive.
This is a dynamic, community-based position ideal for someone who is organized, empathetic, and committed to social justice and recovery-oriented care.
What You Will Doing to Make a Difference...
- Closely collaborates with the enrollees to develop an individualized plan based on identified needs and goals
- Assist enrollees with care coordination and scheduling medical appointments
- Implement recovery oriented, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and strengthen-based rehabilitation practices.
- Driving is required

Credentials/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred (but not required)
- Experience navigating the local treatment and social services systems
- Experience working with individuals who are justice involved
- Trained in overdose prevention
- Knowledgeable about and respects all paths to recovery
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
