Hotels Unlimited has an exciting opening to join our Payroll and Human Resources team in the corporate offices located near Exit 8 of the New Jersey Turnpike. This is a fast paced, full-time position. This is an opportunity to join a successful, well-established, family-owned business that is growing by leaps and bounds. 


Duties will include but are not limited to:

· Process and record payroll for multiple properties

· Manage workflow to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.

· Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports prior to posting into the accounting software.

· Reconcile quarterly and year-end PR tax reporting.

· Managing and processing pre-hire and onboarding paperwork for employees

· Organizing and maintaining employee records

· Organizing and maintaining records for investigations and claims

· Perform tasks as assigned by members of the management staff.

· Maintain and enforce policies and procedures for internal control compliance.


Compensation and Benefits:

  • This position offers a starting salary that ranges from $40,000.00-$55,000.00 annually depending on qualifications and experience. Candidates with exceptional qualifications may be offered additional consideration.

Requirements

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (required).

· Working knowledge of standard payroll practices and procedures.

· Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.

· Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.

· Strong writing skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Experience working within the hospitality industry and with multiple companies (strong plus).

· Prior hotel/restaurant experience and understanding of tips/service charge declarations, sharing, paid outs, etc. (strong plus).

· Experience with computerized accounting software (strong plus).

· Experience with Paylocity, or similar payroll processing software (strong plus).

· Must be punctual, responsible, dependable and reliable.

· Ability to effortlessly switch gears at a moment’s notice and wear many hats.

· Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a high paced, dynamic environment.

· Willingness to work as part of a team and assist co-workers when required.


Experience is preferred but will train motivated candidates who possess the drive and determination to succeed!
