Who we Are:
Wright Manufacturing is a Maryland-based leader in commercial lawn equipment, dedicated to improving the productivity and success of professional landscapers. Founded in 1981 as a lawn maintenance company, Wright built its reputation on efficiency and innovation—developing tools and technologies that transformed the industry, including the first stand-on mower.
Today, Wright focuses exclusively on designing and manufacturing heavy-duty commercial mowers that deliver high productivity, durability, and operator comfort. Headquartered in Frederick, Maryland, Wright proudly builds its products from raw steel to finished equipment in the USA.
Role Overview:
As a Wright Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in bringing our marketing strategies to life, working across a wide range of projects that support our growing brand. This position requires strong time management skills, a self-starter mindset, and an interest in developing a broad, hands-on marketing skillset. You will take ownership of projects from concept through completion, contributing across social, print, web, events, dealer support, and branded materials.
This is a factory-based, hands-on role that goes beyond traditional marketing. You’ll work closely with our production team to coordinate projects, interact regularly with our products, and develop a deep understanding of Wright equipment. This includes becoming familiar with mower operation, assisting with moving equipment around the facility, and supporting product-focused content and event preparation.
Our promise to you is a rewarding opportunity in a growing department where you’ll gain exposure to all aspects of marketing while having the autonomy to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management: Own Wright’s social media strategy by creating, planning, and scheduling content across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Develop engaging content that highlights our products and the dealers and landscapers who rely on them. Lead voice-of-customer engagement and support paid social campaigns.
- Event and Meeting Coordination and Support: Lead planning and execution of trade shows, dealer events, and corporate meetings. Responsibilities include logistics, materials, displays, and on-site execution. This role requires hands-on involvement, including setting up equipment, preparing mowers (cleaning and staging), and transporting equipment via truck and trailer.
- Graphic Design: Create print and digital marketing materials using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar platforms. Support visual storytelling through graphics, product photos, and video content.
- Merchandising and Branded Materials: Support and grow Wright’s branded merchandise program, including product selection, creative development, and coordination of internal and external needs.
- Market and Sales Research: Conduct market research and assist with data analysis to support marketing and sales initiatives.
- Website: Assist with website updates, ensuring strong content, user experience, and SEO. Support dealers in maintaining proper Wright branding on their websites.
- Asset Creation and Content Production: Help manage annual photo and video shoots and contribute to in-house content creation. Capture and edit grassroots content that reflects real-world product use.
- Dealer Support: Assist with dealer onboarding and ongoing support by providing marketing resources, branding guidance, and communication tools to ensure consistency across the dealer network.
- Project Ownership and Cross-Functional Coordination: Own and manage select marketing initiatives from planning through execution. Coordinate with internal teams—including production—vendors, dealers, and partners to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with their hands as well as behind a screen.
