Position Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Client Success, the Senior Director of Business Insights & Analytics serves as a strategic partner to key client leadership, translating data into actional insights that shape strategy, improve patient outcomes and accelerate growth. This position oversees the development of advanced analytics, consumer insights, and data-driven decision frameworks that deepen our understanding of consumer behavior, the patient journey and market dynamics.
We are seeking a Senior Director of Business Insights & Analytics to lead a high-performing analytics team and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Client Success, Pharmacy Operations, Customer Success, Emerging Program Directors, Product, Finance, and Compliance, and executive leadership. This position plays a key role in using data to identify opportunities, influence executive decisions, and guide the evolution of our patient experience, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights that inform enterprise strategy, growth planning, and operational priorities.
- Leads patient and consumer journey analytics, delivering insights into pathways, friction points, engagement, adherence, and retention across the end-to-end lifecycle.
- Drives advanced analytics and data science initiatives, including predictive modeling, segmentation, experimentation (A/B testing), and performance analytics to support decision-making and risk visibility.
- Establishes and evolves scalable analytics infrastructure and data models that enable self-service insights, digital performance measurement, and consistent enterprise reporting.
- Partners cross-functionally with Product, Client Success, Customer Success, and Operations teams to translate business questions into analytical strategies and patient-centric solutions.
- Defines and governs key metrics, KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks, ensuring alignment, consistency, and transparency across the organization.
- Builds and leads a high-performing analytics and insights team, establishing best practices in analytics, reporting, and storytelling while fostering a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and data-driven decision making.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, finance, business, engineering, or related field (Required)
- Master’s degree in business, analytics, or related discipline (Preferred)
- Licensure/Certification: None
- Experience:
- 10-15+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, pharma services analytics, or performance governance roles (Required)
- Experience leading analytics teams at the Director level or above, including managing and developing high-performing analytical talent (Required)
- Experience translating complex analytics into actionable insights that support executive decision-making in fast-paced or high-growth environments (Required)
- Experience working with manufacturer-sponsored programs, performance-based contracts, or SLA-driven service models (Preferred)
- Experience working directly with pharmaceutical manufacturer clients (Preferred)
- Experience supporting specialty pharmacy or DTC healthcare models (Preferred)
- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Knowledge of the patient access and specialty pharmacy ecosystem; of healthcare and pharmaceutical services analytics; performance governance frameworks; and scalable analytics frameworks and data governance practices (Required)
- Advanced analytical and modeling skills (Required)
- Strong data interpretation and synthesis skills (Required)
- Executive level communication and data storytelling skills (Required)
- Proficiency with modern analytics and business intelligence tools, such as SQL, Python or R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms used for advanced analysis and visualization (Required)
- Strong cross functional collaboration skills (Required)
- Ability to inform strategic and operational decision making (Required)
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high performing analytics or insights teams (Required)
- Ability to align analytics execution with business priorities (Required)
- Ability to analyze and interpret operational and financial data (Required)
Work Environment
- Location: Remote
- Schedule: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, with additional hours as required to support launches and digital deployments
- Regular meetings with Client Success, Pharmacy Operations, Customer Success, Product, Compliance, and Emerging Program Directors. This role may also have meetings with manufacturer client representatives.
Key Essential Functions
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while reviewing dashboards and performance analytics
- Must be able to work on a computer for the entire shift
- Must be able to attend virtual meetings with cross-functional teams
