The team at RTA is looking for a Director of Enterprise Sales. This role is responsible for driving new business growth by partnering with enterprise-level fleet organizations (primarily government fleets), understanding their challenges, and delivering solutions that truly make an impact. This position plays a key role in not only the success of our company, but ultimately in the success of our clients.

To start, this will be an individual contributor role that will work closely with our RFP team and our new business sale team to help get Enterprise deals across the finish line, but as RTA continues to grow, this role has potential for big things.

What We’re Looking For

In general, someone who:

  • Feels at home being a member of a healthy team. This means they aren’t afraid to mix it up or be held accountable by the team, and they are willing to hold others accountable as well. People with trust issues and insecurity need not apply. No, seriously.
  • Passionately cares about our clients and helping them be more successful. Our clients are fleet managers, parts clerks, automotive technicians, and they maintain everything from squad cars to school buses so that everyone comes home safely at the end of the day.
  • Thinks of themselves less, while not thinking less of themselves. They are other-centric and compassionate.
  • Is willing to lift boxes, clean floors, and hold doors if that’s what it takes to get something done.
  • Loves to read, learn, grow, and stretch themselves. Bonus points for each book you’ve read by Patrick Lencioni.
  • Is constantly looking for more: more to learn, more to do, and more opportunity.
  • Has Fleet Management experience (strongly preferred) and Enterprise Sales Experience.

Specifically for this job, someone who:

  • Has experience selling into enterprise fleet organizations with longer, more complex sales cycles, preferably in the government space.
  • Someone that can bring their own enterprise fleet contacts, and can easily build a book of business quickly.
  • Can confidently lead discovery conversations with multiple stakeholders and uncover real business needs.
  • Someone who has experience with the RFP process and managing deals in that process to closed deals.
  • Is skilled at building relationships, navigating decision-makers, and driving deals to close.
  • Can manage a pipeline effectively and consistently hit or exceed quota.
  • Is comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
  • Understands the MEDDPICC framework and has utilized it to navigate complex sales cycles.
