Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Mission Hills, California.

This role supports a high-volume IR department performing complex vascular and interventional procedures in an acute care hospital setting.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for IR Techs experienced in vascular and interventional procedures who are comfortable assisting in complex cases and maintaining sterile technique in a fast-paced procedural environment.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• Day shift 4x10s (07:00–17:30)
• Call required every other weekend and one weekday
• Weekday call hours: 17:00–07:00
• Weekend call: 24-hour coverage
• 30-minute response time required
• Floating may be required within Providence system

COMPENSATION
Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable.

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, and stent placement
• Prepare and maintain sterile field during procedures
• Perform room setup and procedural support
• Assist with vascular closure systems including Perclose and StarClose
• Support abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and genitourinary IR cases
• Monitor patient status and assist with emergency interventions
• Document procedures and patient care accurately

• 377 staffed beds
• Interventional Radiology procedural suite
• Epic charting system
• Free parking

Requirements
• Minimum 1 year Interventional Radiology Tech experience REQUIRED
• ARRT(R) REQUIRED
• ACLS REQUIRED
• BLS REQUIRED
• RCIS preferred
• Experience with vascular and interventional procedures REQUIRED
• Ability to maintain sterile field and assist in procedures REQUIRED
• Must be willing to take call with 30-minute response time
• Must meet 50-mile radius rule
• Locals accepted at lower bill rate
• Active California license required if applicable
• RTO must be submitted with application

• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• 2 supervisory references required
• LA Fire Card required within 30 days
• Modules non-billable (avg 16 hours)
