- Conduct ongoing analysis of market conditions, competitive set, and demand trends to inform pricing and sales strategies.
Operations & Brand Standards
- Oversee day-to-day hotel operations across all departments, ensuring seamless guest experiences that meet or exceed Marriott/Renaissance brand standards.
- Establish and enforce quality standards through regular property inspections, department audits, and guest satisfaction data review.
- Ensure prompt and effective resolution of guest concerns, championing a culture of service recovery and continuous improvement.
- Partner with corporate support teams (revenue management, digital marketing, HR, finance) to optimize performance across all disciplines.
- Maintain full compliance with all brand, franchise, ownership, and regulatory requirements.
Sales, Revenue & Marketing
- Lead and support the implementation of local and national sales and marketing programs to drive occupancy and revenue.
- Actively engage in key account management, community relationships, and local business development to strengthen the hotel's market position.
- Collaborate with the VP of Operations and corporate teams on revenue strategy, channel management, and digital performance.
Team Leadership & Human Resources
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team; conduct regular performance evaluations and implement succession planning.
- Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that drives employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
- Maintain a proactive HR function ensuring compliance with labor laws, wage and benefit administration, and company policy.
- Champion ongoing training, development, and coaching programs to build team capability at all levels.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, and separation processes.
