What You’ll Do

  • Train to oversee daily operations of the dairy and frozen foods department
  • Ensure shelves, coolers, and freezers are stocked, rotated, and maintained
  • Monitor product quality, freshness, and storage temperatures
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and shrink reduction efforts
  • Conduct inventory counts and analyze sales trends for ordering needs
  • Supervise, train, schedule, and support department team members
  • Maintain attractive product displays, signage, and pricing accuracy
  • Assist customers with product questions and special requests
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
  • Work closely with store leadership and vendors on product deliveries and inventory needs
  • Participate in management training focused on operations, technology, and leadership development


What We’re Looking For

  • Previous grocery, dairy/frozen, retail, or department experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of inventory control, ordering, and product rotation preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking and reporting
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory software preferred
  • Willingness to travel between store locations as needed for training
  • Flexible full-time availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays)


Work Environment

  • Grocery store dairy and frozen foods department
  • Frequent exposure to refrigerated coolers and freezer environments
  • Standing for extended periods; lifting up to 50 lbs
