What You’ll Do

As the Cybersecurity and IAM Oversight Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in leading teams responsible for secure system integration and identity management. You will oversee the development of compliant Authority to Connect (ATC) packages, guide technical troubleshooting efforts, and drive process improvements across cybersecurity and IAM functions. This role requires close collaboration with leadership and stakeholders to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant operations. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage teams responsible for architecting system connections and developing Authority to Connect (ATC) packages in compliance with agency cybersecurity policies and regulations 
  • Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting troubleshooting efforts during smoke test events and other key operational activities 
  • Collaborate with the Director of Cybersecurity, client leadership, and systems integrators to identify risks, track issues, and implement mitigation strategies 
  • Oversee Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Access Office teams responsible for user provisioning and access control operations 
  • Ensure the development, implementation, and maintenance of IAM policies, procedures, and standards 
  • Act as SME for defining IAM standards for system interfaces and integrations 
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency, productivity, and service delivery 
  • Promote consistent communication, documentation, and alignment across cybersecurity and IAM functions
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity and/or IAM teams in a complex environment 
  • Strong understanding of Authority to Connect (ATC) processes and compliance requirements 
  • Experience supporting system testing, troubleshooting, and operational readiness activities 
  • Deep knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, tools, and best practices 
  • Experience applying cybersecurity frameworks such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, technologies, and compliance standards supporting secure system integration and access management 
  • Ability to identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working within federal or government contracting environments 
  • Familiarity with system integration and interface security standards 
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency

The compensation range provided reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role, with the final offer determined by a variety of factors including skills, experience, and scope of responsibilities.  


Salary Description
$179,400 - $202,800
