IdeaTek is looking for a Copywriter to join our growing marketing team and help shape how we communicate—both internally and externally.
In this role, you’ll own and support a wide range of content, including blogs, press releases, customer messaging, and our company newsletter. This is a brand-new position created to expand our content capabilities, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact and help define our voice as we continue to grow.
A Day in the Life
Imagine starting your day by drafting a blog post highlighting a recent IdeaTek project, followed by collaborating with team members to finalize a customer communication. You might spend part of your afternoon working on the monthly newsletter or refining messaging for an internal announcement. Some days, you’ll jump in to support urgent communications, ensuring our customers and employees stay informed when it matters most. By the end of the day, you’ll know your work helped shape how IdeaTek connects with both its customers and its team.
What You'll Do
Key responsibilities include:
- Write and publish blog content for the IdeaTek website to support marketing and brand awareness
- Create press releases and external communications to share company updates and milestones
- Develop clear, engaging customer communications across multiple channels
- Support internal communications to ensure employees stay informed and aligned
- Own and manage the company newsletter, including content planning and execution
- Drive messaging strategy while partnering with teams across the company
- Adapt tone and messaging to fit different audiences, platforms, and communication needs
- Assist with email content and campaigns as needed
- Ensure consistency in brand voice across all written materials
- Attend key company events as needed to capture content and write timely articles or recaps

What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications:
- 1–2 years of professional experience in writing, marketing, or communications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field
- Strong writing and editing skills with a solid grasp of grammar and clarity
