Team: Capital Markets

Duration: Beginning June 8, 2026 and running for 8-10 Weeks (Summer 2026)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

Role Overview

Guideline is seeking a tech-savvy, detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our team for an immersive 8- 10 week program. This role will support our growth and investor outreach initiatives. This isn’t a "get us coffee" internship; you will be at the intersection of data, marketing, and AI, helping us activate our lead generation and sharpen our market presence.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who knows their way around a spreadsheet but is also excited to push the boundaries of how AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude can streamline prospecting within the financial market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and research high-potential prospects within the investor community using LinkedIn, financial databases, and web research.
  • Use AI-Augmented Marketing and Tasks: Use ChatGPT, Claude, and Canva to refresh, draft, and iterate on marketing collateral, while leveraging AI Agents like Claude Cowork to drive outreach with prospects.
  • Data Management: Perform "small data" tasks, including cleaning investor lists and running queries in Excel to extract actionable insights.
  • Investor Research: Deep-dive into specific investor profiles to understand their mandates, past investments, and strategic fit.
  • Support our Client Success Team to improve client retention through targeted outreach programs.
  • Presentation Design: Translate complex data and research into clean, professional PowerPoint decks for internal and external meetings.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Tech Stack: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, basic queries) and PowerPoint
  • AI Fluency: Comfortable using LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude) for research and content generation, and Canva for basic graphic design.
  • Financial Literacy: A foundational understanding of financial markets, public equity, or the investor ecosystem is a significant plus.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; ability to present findings clearly.
  • Growth Mindset: A "no task is too small" attitude combined with the curiosity to find better, faster ways to get things done.

Why Join Us?

  • Gain hands-on experience in the investor relations and marketing space.
  • Work directly with senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Opportunity to lead projects that involve cutting-edge AI workflows.

Compensation:

$20.00/hour USD
