Full-Time Transportation Coordinator

Position Summary for Transportation Coordinator:

Leading international auto auction company is seeking a full-time Transportation Coordinator to assist with transportation coordination of  vehicles to the auction. The responsibility of the Transportation Coordinator is to call repossession agents and dealers and coordinate picking up vehicles to be delivered to the auction. The Transportation Coordinator will work directly with the banks, repossession agents, and the Transportation Manager to communicate ETAs and any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities for Transportation Coordinator:

• Email banks, repossession agents, and dealers to communicate ETAs
• Call repossession agents to qualify and schedule vehicles
• Report any issues to the Transportation Manager
• Communicate with Rollback and Van drivers
• Create and check paperwork for accuracy prior to giving to drivers
• Follow up with any vehicle issues to ensure timely transportation to the auction
• Other duties as assigned by management

Work Hours for Transportation Clerk:

• Monday - Friday
• 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• Possible earlier shift when Transportation Manager is out
• No nights or weekends

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
• Strong administration skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented and strong organization skills
• Able to meet deadlines
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Need to pass a pre-employment screening.

Not Required But A Plus:

• Proficiency in Excel & Word

• Familiarity with towing equipment and vehicle maintenance

• Familiarity with auctions and repossession
